12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Matthew 6:12

Iniquity is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness,
and one turns from evil by the fear of the Lord.

When a person’s ways please the Lord,

Our debts to God
(Personal Confession)

Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness:

If I claim to be without sin, I deceive myself, and the truth is not in me. If I confess my sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive me my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness. If I claim I have not sinned, I make Him a liar and His word is not in me.

1 John 1:8–10 NASB

God promises mercy when we repent of our evil and come back to Him.

Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 55:7 NASB
