About
Originally from Knoxville, TN, Jason grew up an avid hunter, fisherman, and Vols fan. God invaded his life at 17 years old, and changed him forever. He worked as a law clerk during college, but began preaching the last year of school. After graduating UT Knoxville, he moved to NC to begin seminary at SEBTS. After one year, he married his bride, Erika, and they began preparations to moved to Maine to plant a church. Upon attaining his Master of Divinity, they were bound for New England.
Living Stone Community Church was planted in January of 2003, and began a season of rapid growth. By three years, the church was fully self-supporting, including staff, missions giving and going, and all other active ministries.
In Nov of 2006, God called Jason south to begin a pastorate at New River Baptist Church of Tifton, GA. In seven years, attendance increased, baptisms continued, a 10,000 sq ft building was built. However, in 2013, God moved Jason from the pastor of NRBC to the Director of Missions at the Mell Association. God is continuing to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ, be faithful with His truth, edify the saints, and upbuild the church all to the glory of Jesus Christ.
