While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3 CSB
1. Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you. (Matthew 24:4 CSB)
2. “Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many.” (Matthew 24:5 CSB) That is, many will step forward to lead saying they have the answer…they can save you…remember the first rule! – “do not be deceived”
3: Wars and rumors of wars are to be expected, but do not signal the end is at hand.
"You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6 CSB)
For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (Matthew 24:7 CSB)
